Domestique (Martin Jaakola) is a producer, DJ, and audio engineer originally from Finland, but currently based in Minneapolis. He combines elements of melodic and progressive house to make a unique impact on the dance-floor.

Domestique is heavily inspired in the studio by his collection of analog gear and continuous sonic experimentation. A lifelong musician on many instruments, ranging from playing guitar in jazz band to french horn in the Minnesota state orchestra, Domestique’s formal musical training has allowed him to craft a unique sonic footprint.

Pushed by friends and local DJs, he started his own project after winning a remix contest for Tom Westy & Julia Church’s popular track Without You (Terminal 1) via Helix Records in 2024. Domestique charted Top-20 on the Beatport House music chart with his highly anticipated debut collaboration 'Feel It' released on EDX’s Swiss dance powerhouse label Sirup Music.

Recently, he opened and shared the stage with American veteran producer Amtrac at Beyond the Pines festival alongside other touring acts like Will Clarke, Le Youth, and Sinca. He has also played in Ibiza at clubs like Plastik for British DJ legends GAWP and Doorly. He kicked off 2025 playing direct support for Massane (TNH) on New Years Eve in what looks to be a bright year ahead.
